WHAT IS FUNGALITE PHASE 1?

Fungalite Phase 1 is a unique combination of Olive leaf extract with 20% oleuropeins, Garlic powder, Grapefruit seed extract, and oregano extract, all of which have been shown to have antifungal or antimicrobial activities.

Fungalite Phase 1 contains:

-          Olive leaf extract

Olive leaf extract contains Oleuropeins, which have been shown to be effective against candida albicans within 24 hours. It appears to work by interfering with the production of important amino acids within the fungal cells that are essential for their survival. Oleuropeins have also been demonstrated to stimulate phagocytosis (the engulfing and gobbling up of microbes by your own immune cells)

-          Garlic Powder

Garlic powder contains many antifungal compounds including allicin, allin, allinase and S allycysteine. Some studies have shown garlic to be more effective than Nystatin at killing candida.

-          Grapefruit seed extract

Grapefruit seed extract has strong antimicrobial properties against a wide range of gram negative and gram-positive organisms. It disrupts the bacterial membrane and liberates the cytoplasmic contents within about 15 minutes, according to the paper “The effectiveness of processed grapefruit-seed extract as an antibacterial agent: II. Mechanism of action and in vitro toxicity”.

Studies performed in 1990 found grapefruit seed extract to be more effective than 30 antibiotics and 18 fungicides in its antifungal capacity.

-          Oregano Extract

Oregano extract contains phenols called terpenes and terpenoids. The most abundant phenol, Carvacrol, is suggested to have widespread anti-microbial activity, which is shown in this 2012 antimicrobial study, and Thymol, an antifungal and antibacterial agent.

We removed the Cloves as the Eugenol oil in combination with the other ingredients causes some issues involving the capsule to split.  By removing this we then were able to increase the strength of the other ingredients based on their anti-fungal/anti-microbial properties.
