Our food supplement Collagen Type II with Hyaluronic Acid contains UC-II®, (40 mg), which is un-denatured, native collagen type II, hyaluronic acid (100 mg) and vitamin C (200 mg), whose source is rosehip extract (250 mg).

Type II collagen is the main protein found in cartilage - the connective tissue that builds joints and protects bones. Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the human body, especially in the skin, joint fluid, and in the eye. Vitamin C is one of the most important vitamins for the body and is mainly found in fresh fruit and vegetables such as citrus (oranges, lemons), strawberries, broccoli and spinach.

The UC-II® used in our supplement is collagen derived from standardised cartilage from hormone-free farm-raised chickens. It is a clinically tested ingredient and the recommended daily serving is only 40 mg, which provides 10 mg of type II collagen. 

The recommended daily serving of the product is 1 capsule, which we suggest taking after a meal. Depending on your needs, you can choose a pack containing 30 capsules - which is enough for one month of supplementation - or choose a 2-month version (60 capsules).
