About the trace element boron

Boron, or colloquially boron, is a mineral and belongs to the group of ultra-trace elements. The human body is unable to produce boron itself, which is why supplementation with dietary supplements is not advisable. Plant foods such as nuts, dried fruit, and vegetables are a good source of boron. Animal foods such as fish, meat, and dairy products are less suitable for natural absorption of the trace element.
